Monocle Necklace

Materials Needed:

1 Silk Cord

1 Brass Anna's Toggle

1' 26ga Vintage Bronze Wire

1 1" Silver Hammered Link

Typed (laser printed) Paper

1 Oval Key

1 5mm Jump Ring

Masking Tape

Diamond Glaze

1.8mm Hole Punch

Chain Noise Pliers

Scissors

Flush Cutters

Directions:

1:  Press the hammered link down to a piece of masking tape.  Burnish the link on the tape so that there are no air pockets and the link is stuck to the tape completely around the surface.  Apply a thin layer of Diamond Glaze inside of the link.  Allow to dry.  When dry completely, use the 1.8mm hole punch pliers to punch a hole through the Diamond Glaze close to the top of the link.

2:  Cut your desired letter(s) out of the paper.  Use a dab of Diamond Glaze to attach the paper to where you want it on the Diamond Glaze film.  Apply a small amount of Diamond Glaze over the paper to seal it in.  Make sure to not cover the hole that you've punched.  Allow to dry.

3:  Fold 1' of 26ga. wire in half.  Use the doubled wire to create a briolette bail (Not sure how?  Check out our Videos Page!) on the Diamond Glaze Pendant.  Attach an open jump ring to the oval key.

4:  String the bar end of the toggle to the center of the silk cord and fold the cord in half.  Make an overhand knot in the silk cord right below the toggle bar.  String the pendant and the key charm onto both strands.

5:  String the ring end of the toggle onto one of the strands of silk.  Using both strands of the silk, tie an overhand knot and capture the toggle into the knot.  Wear proudly!
