Come for Open Studio.  Hang out and/or use our tools and materials.  Get advice and ideas from other metal heads like yourself.  And no, you don't have to work on metal only!  Anyone is welcome!

If you plan to torch, please BYOB (bring your own butane - refills can be found at any hardware store in a little canister)


Some of the tools at your disposal:

Metal letter and design stamps, different kinds of hammers, brass texture plates, torches, tripods, kiln, kiln bricks, third hands, bench blocks, vices, anvils, hole punches, dapping blocks, liver of sulfur, pickle, steel wool, micro buffing pads, forming pliers, brass and steel brushes, metal shears, steel ring and bracelet mandrels, tumbler, files, hand and power drills, center punches, badger balm, rubber texture mats (for PMC or polymer clay), acrylic rollers, clay misters, permanent markers, various metal clay tools,


Metal Monday is first come, first serve.  Make sure to arrive by 7:00 pm.  The use of tools is at your own risk.  Please do not use a tool if you don't know how to properly use it, or if you aren't sure, just ask!  Please understand that this is not a class.  Metal Monday is an Open Studio time to come and work or to try out a new project.  With that being said, anyone is welcome to come and watch, or just hang out, but please be courteous to those around you who are working.

If you are planning to use any chemicals or chemical compounds that could be dangerous to those around you, please notify a staff member and those seated or working around you.  Please bring all safety precautionary items, such as gloves, safety glasses, or masks, if you plan to use them.
