I took a basic bead stringing class. It was a refresher for me. The instructor and staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed the class and have signed up for another class at the store.

Do you ever hold crochet events? I only saw knit on your calendar. My daughter and mother might be intetested as well.

What is the youngest age you recommend for your earring making class?
I am looking into purchasing a groupon for me and my almost 8 year old daughter.
Thank you.

Hi Jennifer!
Normally we say 12, but if you'd like to call the store at (618) 222-0772, we can let you know what all is involved in the class, and you can make a decision on whether or not you think it would be a successful class for your daughter. Thank you!

I visited your store (finally, only have been wanting to for a long time) on Saturday 2/23/13. I did not expect your store to have so many items. Love the selection of everything. My husband was with me and was actually having a good time looking at all of your beautiful beads. The staff was amazing! So friendly and helpful. Definately will return.

Do you have a group on Ravellry? A few of us visited your shop during the Yarn Crawl and would like to join your group. Do you give classes on knitting with beads?

Barbara, yes! We have a Ravelry group! It's new and very small but as soon as we get more members, we're going to start putting some fun things on the site.

I loved your store! I just wandered around, dumbstruck by the huge selection. I will definitely return to buy something. I need to narrow down a project, otherwise I'll go broke trying to buy everything in your store.

I enjoyed the Russian Spiral Bracelet class Tuesday evening. It taught me a new technique that I can use over and over with different variations. Abby, as always, you are a true joy to work with and learn from. The Bead Place is one of my favorite stores.

Oh, my gosh. What a wonderful store!!! I wish we had a store like that (with yarn AND beads) in the Tacoma, WA area! On second thought, that'd probably be a dangerous place for me...

I was looking for trendsetters yarn on line and your store was listed as carrying this yarn. Oh my gosh! Was I delighted to see your web page. I am from Collinsville area and moved away after graduation in 1971. I often come back for shopping in Fairwiew Heights IL. Had no idea you existed. I am making a trip to see you in the morning and I can't wait. Really looking forward to it. I might even decide I would like to try jewelry making.

I left my physical therapy session and saw the bead store and was blown away at the many different beads that was offered. This store had more than the other craft stores. The staff, oh my god, friendly from the time you open the door to the time I left. Thats what i love, friendly service from beginning to end. Yes, i have already been spreading the word to family and friends about " the bead place". Thanks for being local. I look forward to seeing their happy faces again next week.
